Hi all. Jer and Jon have started school. It is going good. AR has been doing school work too. Praises some friend up here just had their second child. Mother and baby doing great. I have been making baby afghans to sell. Jeff has been sick. Please pray. Also my Dad has been sick and my family needs your prayers. Thanks. Our pastor also has been sick as well. I pray that you all are well and things are going good for you all. Please be praying for my Grandmother as well. Thanks Amelia

Busy Summer

I haven't posted in a long time. I would say it was just because of a busy summer schedule but it has been longer than that. I just wanted to post a few highlights from the summer. We have had some great blessings this summer. I just got back from the associational youth mission trip to Ossian, IA. We took 16 people total and God really worked in all of us as individuals and as a group. The mission team may get an opportunity to continue using their gifts with an upcoming event in New Underwood. The week before the mission trip we had the Sturgis Motorcyle Rally in town. The Dakota Baptist Convention set up a booth with a chance to win a limited edition Harley Davidson motorcycle. We gave away free chances to anyone who would listen to a Gospel message for 3 minutes. It was a long week for all involved as the Gospel was shared with just over 3000 people. I think 3085 was the final total. Out of that group of people 718 people prayed to receive Christ as Lord and Saviour. That total may sound hard to believe but I know it is an accurate count as I know the lengths we went to in order to avoid counting anyone that didn't personally pray with one of our volunteers. God really blessed this outreach and many lives will never be the same. We had a great VBS this summer, which I think my wife already posted about.
I am going with my band to Hazen, ND this weekend to play a back to school lock-in at the church there. We are excited about the opportunity and pray that God would use us to touch many lives.

Hello everyone. Sorry for the long hiatus. Moving and all the accompanying hassles will do that to you. We are finally settling in at our new place in Sturgis and getting everything packed and put away. Just wanted to give you guys some prayer requests and updates. Please pray for the youth group at Black Hills Baptist. We are taking the challenges from Aquire the Fire and running with it, so I expect there to be a mix of excitement and challenges in the ministry in the next month or two unlike anything we have seen. Also, we have had a lot of different illnesses going through the group lately. The youth did the service a week ago Sunday and I thought it went very well. We got about a foot of snow over the weekend and church was cancelled, so I helped out with the jail ministry in the afternoon. I definitely got a blessing from the experience. I will work to get on a post more soon. Thanks for all of your prayers for us. God bless.

Hey everyone. We have been staying busy. The kids are all getting healthy again. Jonathan was able to go to church with me on Wednesday night for the first time in a while. Please be in prayer with us. We are now on a timetable to move to a new place, mostly because we have a deadline now to get out of this one. We appreciate your prayers for us as we work to get ready to move. I am applying for a new position at work as well that would give us some extra money, so please keep that in your prayers as well. I am going to try and do some tweaks to the weblog here along with our homepage at Geocities. I will let you know when they are done by announcing it here. God bless you.

Hi All, We are on the mend. We are over the RSV, but the kids all have ear infections and Jonathan's ears ruptured. Please be praying that they heal well. Thanks Amelia

Hi All,
I pray this finds you all well. I thought Jer and AR were getting better. Now I think Jer has an ear infection on top of RSV. I am going to get him in to the doctor's later today. He just fell alseep. Please be praying for a family in our church their son has RSV and other things and two of their older childern are sick too. I hope you are all having a good new year! We hope you had a wonderful New Year. We have had a rough start to the New Year. AR has RSV and now Jer has it. So far the have not required to be in the hospital, but I did have to take AR to the ER at 1AM on Sat. 01-01-06. Please be praying that they will get over their symptoms quickly. Thanks Amelia
